then all from Rohit to jadeja will know feel they shoudl get one . Horrible precedent pampering to such a mediocre player

No offence, but your screen name and this comment is the reason why we didnt have tear away quicks in 80's and 90's! A fast bowler is worth his weight in gold. You don't realize but just to be fit on the field and bowl in 130's at that age with that kind of injuries shows a lot of heart and dedication. 

And any fast bowler deserves such reception. I am glad it happened. We would gladly take a younger left arm fast / fast/medium of Nehra's capability today and that would complete our pace attack.

 Zaheer khan much better bowler yet no adulation like this . Nehra barely played tests why no farewell for pacers who did it for india properly . 

 

Ps nehra was bang average . New crop hundred times better . Don’t be fooled by nehra last couple of years as the t20 player 

 

end of day nehra was frankly not very good . And in contrast epitomises how bad our pacers can be . Now we got real deal and frankly most of them will alrwdy be remembered as better pacers already

The first point - I am saying all pacers should be given grand reception. Zaheer didn't get it was blasphemy! Atleast nehra got, that's a good thing. Why would you compain?

Nehra definitely not an ATG or a legend. Good bowler who could have done lot more if not for injuries etc. I don't begrudge this farewell. Fast bowlers are generally under-appreciated in our country so good to see someone like him get a fond farewell.

What do you mean all pacers being given grand reception . That’s ridiculous. You get it if gun player who awesom for india for many years . Not just cos bowl seam up !!

 

look anyone on this forum knows I love fast guys and desprwte for India to develop fast bowlers ( we are know , happy days ). But you can’t have farewell for anyone who bowled pace lol some players who much better then nehra and did much more years of Stella service for India must be like wtf why is this pants player getting this !

 

also just to confirm nehra reallly wasn’t that good 

 

ps I am against all last game farewell . Pick them team to win and best for future
