U need spinners to change the pace of the game, avoid overrate issues, variety. 

 

Lets assume u want to play 3 pacers + pandya that means 20+ overs for fast bowler including pandya ( pandya as main bowler , ru kidding me)

And give few overs to vijay, players like ABDV, morris, faf will beat the crap out of him in those overs and match change

There are reports that it could a track that is good for fast bowlers on day 1, relatively easy for batting on day 2 and 3, and where spinners can come in to play later on
