How useful will hardik's batting b in SA? Or do v go 4 a genuine bat instead seeing der bowling luks even better dan der batting? Kohli will of course play Ashwin as d spinner.. This team will win us a test match for sure. That bowling line up got variety and pace to unsettle proteas. Mosher, Temujin Khaghan and Rightarmfast 3

I believe if there's less movement off the pitch and conditions are drier (which it might be due to less grass cover) then pandya's batting might come in handy. If it's a seaming pitch then off Ishant/bumrah over umesh Temujin Khaghan and Mosher 2

It's not the failure actually which I have problem with. Many top players fail, but the amount disruption his inclusion brings to our batting and bowling order is what I am concerned about. Including him means we are playing one batsman short or one poor support bowler. That is what is my concern. I don't trust the guy in test. I support him for Odi's but not a fan of his inclusion in test at this time away from home. You can call me conservative, but I see it differently that if we are to leave out Hardik, we have a chance to try someone new for example Bumrah which we have been longing for in a while to see what he can do in the test arena on the South African pitches. Yes, its a long tail but I am going to go all out. if we don't play 4 pacers, then we must play Rohit then because with Pandya its a long tail too.

Picked ashwin as imo better spinner and better test bat pandya or Rohit . Very tough call . Went for extra bowler option but understand if team goes bit more defensive and picks Rohit as better bat express bowling 1

I would go for pandya No, you do not get the point of what I said. I said tail is kind of same long if Pandya plays or doesn't play. If Pandya fails with the bat which cab likely happen I think, then our tail is kind of as long as the one I posted. And including Pandya in that bowling line up will also mean that we are kind of playing one bowler short. So I am saying we are better of playing either those four seamers or go defensive route and play two spinners, which I don't like personally overseas.
