msb1991
You people are overcritical of Munaf's pace. He bowled with good pace in the Pakistan series, despite being just back from injury. He hit 140kph more than a couple of occasions on unresponsive pitches. He was a fantastic bowler in the 2006/7 season in ODIs and there is no reason why he cannot recreate such form. Furthermore, he got three wickets in the Duleep Trophy and he can simply not do that if he bowls at 125kph like when he is unfit or looks like he can't give a crap. Coverpoint is right that he has been wasted as a bowler. He is a great potential. Link to comment

The Outsider
Dadaji aa rahe hain. Abhi Aus ki phatne wali hain. Probably out of shock of seeing as fit and committed cricketer as Munaf. Link to comment
King Tendulkar
Its his pace while fielding that worries the most. He is the worst fielder ever to play international cricket. Slow, cant bend down as joints are to stiff, cant catch and has no throwing arm. He makes ganguly look like Jhonty Rhodes!!!Has there ever been a worse fielder ever? Link to comment
PaiN_KiLLeR
kya bakwaas replacement hai this is like adding insult to (RP's) injury Link to comment

talksport
Good Move.... Munaf will soon realize his short comings and I have no doubts he will come back......He is one guy who fought all the injuries from first classs cricket and broke into the side... At the moment he is in a very depressed state because of a combination of things....All he needs is encouragement and be part of a young brigade. We dont need a Tait. Props to Dhoni for chosing him Link to comment

Whats that combination of things? He got his chances to make a comeback and could have grabbed it with more enthusiasm. But he let it slide. Link to comment
