Stoinis played just 2 innings. Scored well in ok... failed in another... got dropped.

Get him in. He is a lower order bat plus clutch.

Mayank's failure is the most disappointing. He is actually batting well but throwing away starts. If he doesn't go aerial route, he may score really well.

Was retained at 6.75 cr.

yeah you're right but 12.5 Cr was deducted from the team's salary cap

still wasted 12.5cr for someone warming the bench

He has niggle. Don't think he's fit. Else not to play him after spending so much will be foolish.

Player / Innings / Runs

Finch / 5/24

Mayank / 7/ 105

Every place in playing 11 is crucial. Bad form over 5 matches is not something which can be ignored over a competitive tournament imo.

5 matches all over batting order

7 games at a similar order

So atleast mayank has had a fair chance, lets give finch a fair chance at fair position. He also has experience. IPL is in his last 2nd stage n as it progresses ull see more pressure game which is where experience comes in play.

Also a big player will always have a reputation that will always play on opposition mind

N at the end of the day ill back quality, regd form 105 in 7 is no form......infact oppourtunity wasted.

Ill back quality, experience over somebody i dnt even rate
