yep such a fine player in tests that he decided to try that out in ODIs and took the ODI game to a new level by constructing masterpieces such as 28(79) balls. :cantstop: My fav Draawid inngs in Tests is ofcourse the legendary 12(96) against Eng when a Test match was there to be won. And who can forget the stupid decision to field first at Wankhede and getting owned by the Poms :hysterical: BTW you don't even have time to watch Test matches per your own posts :hahaha:
these are cases of spot fixing..if you believe in it.

There was a news flash just now that there was not even a single mental asylum willing to take in Bosshbhai for the fear of getting burned down. Now what?
You must be very relieved to hear the news that the mental asylum you're in at the moment is pretty safe.

Its a myth that RSD plays better under pressure than SRT . How many times has RSD scored a match winning century in 4th Innings of a Test Match ? It can be said about Laxman that he has played some fine knocks under pressure , especially the ones in the 4th Innings but not about Dravid .

Can we close this thread? I think it is absolutely insulting to the two great batsmen of the same team to be compared! And what do you mean by "when the team needs"? You think the team doesn't need them always? This the the most rubbish statement I've read. As for batsmen under pressure, you can read one full article in the article section. At the moment, let us discuss just cricket on the cricket forum!

1 against SL in SL 2010 Where India won the match from 50/3 while chasing 250+ Another good knock against Australia at Mohali , not a century but a good knock of 70 odd runs . How many such pressure knocks has massively overhyped Dravid played in his test career ? Even in Tendulkar's case, he scored a last day 100 against England at Chennai when 4 wickets were already down and another good fighting knock of 136 against Pakistan which was on the losing side though . Dravid for all the hype has never played a single match winning or fighting knock in 4th innings of a Test Match , so much for being a pressure cooker player .

72* vs aus in adelaide,75 vs sl ,100 odd vs nz from what i can remember. Dravid's average is 72.78 in successful fourth innings chases and matches where India earned a draw while batting last. Also pressure knocks dont always have to come in 4th innings itself, for example kolkata 2001.

Sorry but from when onwards has chasing 233 become some sort of tough target especially when the team at one stage was 150/2 ? If that was a pressure knock then i might as well add a few more innings of 50s , 60s and 70s by Sachin and VVS to the pressure knock category , the latest being the one that Sachin scored against West Indies in the first test .
