Porn star or Model selling cosmetic products?

You see models/actresses in shower or in a swimming pool showing off their skin and how the product such as a soap or lotion has helped them be more attractive. I wonder what is the difference between these Models and a real porn star. One is showing half of her assets the other one is showing her assets totally? Why discriminate then socially? Dont you agree?

^ NO...I disagree. In todays context, by even western standards, any supermodel posing on camera , even if scantily clad and with a huge sex quotient , is FAR MORE decent than a woman actually performing acts of sex on camera for the benefit of millions ( online or video/cd), which is equal to saying..."please watch me facking on 2nd avenue and main st"..that is practically facking in public....this is a long way off from modeling for cosmetics/products by attractive models who stick to the right side of decency, and dont become obscenely vulgar in public ( that is naked and facking etc)...no comparision...

Why stop with Ad models ? By your yardstick, A film heroine who wears revealing clothes also *sells* her body. Actually, if we apply your logic, 99% of women are *selling* their "body" at some point, in some way or the other.
Wow that is a harsh statement. Women in this forum might ask you to apologize!

By using an attractive model in less clothes, the company that sells the product is looking at the sexual appeasement of the audience to gain more sales. The porn star also is doing the same to gain more sales of the video she is making. What is the difference really?

What silly logic. A porn star doesn't merely show her 'assets'. She performs sexual acts in front of the camera in order to make a living. A ramp lingerie model doesn't even come close to doing this.
Gambit all are doing this. It is just the extend one goes into that differs.

I am curious to know, How many here will be willing to marry a lingerie model ? We need to do a Poll. The Crux of what i am saying is - " Yes a Porn star does "sell" her body", but how drastically different is it, to this ? " HBXf0KXK_Pxgen_r_311xA.jpg She wore this clothes, fully aware of *what* will be *seen* by all, but the point is, she still wore it, because she wants the whole world to *see* it. Generally, it seems as though in our society, the ultimate test of sexual integrity is whether there is any act of penetration or not and I tend to disagree with that. P.S - At this point, I would like to categorically state that i am no sexist, who looks down upon women in a demeaning manner. My only grouse is, our society has different yardsticks for different women. Prostitutes are looked down upon, why celeb actors have gotten nude several times during shooting, are revered. Why this double standards !

Showing body and having sex are two different acts. Showing ones body is acceptable behaviour to a certain extent. Having sex in public is a taboo .
Well it is changing Beetle. Last time I went to India, I saw couples kissing and engaged in sexual acts inside a train. So new generation don't see it that way. Are you saying it is okay for couples to do it not porn stars who get money for doing it? That is ridiculous

If you consider a porn star as an artist then it is fair to compare her with a bharat natyam artist. Both are engaged in some form of art really
I don't consider porn an act, maybe you do. Hey, it's your choice and I'm not judging.
It is sex that sells whether it is a SOAP or a VIDEO. Got it?
No. You don't get it. A woman advertising soap or cosmetic products is aimed at the female market. Men may ogle at the advert but they don't go out and buy Nivea spot removal cream...wait a minute?! Don't tell me you have.....convinced by all the 'sex' in the ad?

You mean to say for just lesbians or gays? Common please dont pretend to be innocent to say that women dont watch other women indulged in sexual acts and men dont watch other men doing it
