This is a defending our bats thread dear. So, not in this thread. In this thread, we will find reasons why the top order collapse and throwing away of wicketz is no big deal. We will still thrash Aus in Finals -:two_thumbs_up:

This match is a clear case of WIN THE TOSS AND WIN THE MATCH.... Batting under lights is very difficult and the Ball swung too much 2nd time around ...... India almost saved the bonus point which is very commendable and I havent mentioned our MVP given wrongly out to LBW :D

I still fancy our chances in a 50 over game against the Lankans. I feel the DL system srewed us over a bit in Canberra, because many of the 5 wickets we lost in our innings were after the 21 over mark (I am not sure if DL takes into account the time in the innings when the wickets fell).

the problem lies in our opening partnerships sachin sehwag, sachin gambhir, sachin uthappa, try any combination, it will not work only sachin saurav can give india a gr8 opening partnership; since saurav isn't there, the middle order as in rohit, yuvraj, dhoni have to fire
