My colleagues went to match yesterday..they are in Que for atleast 2 hours in G17 gate..obviously its for 9000 people...otherwise they felt good and atmosphere was electric..this is what they told... now people here plan to attend More matches :winky:...even during week days.. Next is may be CSK match. Also BMTC bus service is good as per people..just come out of Stadium u have Big 10 buses which travels to most part of Bangalore City... The lowest ticket price is 220 ...gallery it contains around 10,000 people..all tickets booked for CSK match already...
I'm also going for CSK match. Fun to watch our guys beat the sh!t out of Dhoni's boys!B->

cowboysfan: my review of Chinnaswami I havent been to any stadiums before, so take it with a pinch of salt: Good: a) To see RD, and others practicing. These guys take it lightly just before match time. It's like we used to practice for our school cricket matches. b) No queues for Rs550 stands. c) Boisterous crowd, mexican waves, and the DJ. d) The sixes :) e) The bouncers, the gaps in the field, dives, all the live action basically. f) Decent food. g) View from the last row is also decent. h) No commentary :) i) Big Bus. Bad: a) Cant see the movement of the ball, the technique, the players' expressions. No wonder video analysis is so hot. Just watching live, even Manwinder Bisla and Bopara look like the best ever batsmen to have played cricket. b) Binoculars, cameras were not allowed. c) The 220Rs seats, or the lack of it. The 550 ones are fine though. d) Looting rickshaw drivers. e) Nothing to keep you engaged when your team's losing, or the match turns out to be boring. The MC is piss-poor. Couldnt even get the mexican wave started. No quizzes, no good half-time activities. Nothing. The big screen is basically an advertizing board. Badly used. Ugly: a) Cant buy water. You can only fill it in glasses from the dispensers. b) The giant screens dont even replay the 4s/6s/wickets, let alone ball-by-ball coverage. Being basically a fan of test cricket, and wicket-taking bowling in general, it's hard to enjoy it from the stands. I have come to the conclusion that test cricket is basically a game made for TV. Unless there's an innovation in how one views the game from the stands, I think it will be tough to attract people to the stadiums to watch test matches.
