Krunal doesn't inspire much confidence with his bowling. He suddenly bowls a bouncer without even telling the keeper lol. Looks like he is also one of those guys who loses it when he gets hit around.  As a bowler and fielder Jaddu has the edge. As a batsman Krunal has the edge. India's tail is atrocious. Nobody can bat to save their life. So it will be a headache for captain to choose between the two. India misses someone like Yuvraj singh/Raina who could share 10 overs between them. Now not a single top order batsman can bowl decently. This lack of players with multiple skills force us to go with specialists. It will weaken the batting line up.

I am a big supporter of Chahal being in teh side, but our lower order is a major concern. Kumar and Jadeja are both poor limited overs batsmen who struggle to hit boundaries. If Krunal can come in for Chahal, we will miss Chahal's good bowling, but Krunal can contribute some overs and strengthen our batting

 

I was thinking a team like this

1. Rohit

2. Dhawan

3. Kohli

4. Rayudu 

5. Jadhav

6. Dhoni

7. Pandya

8. Pandya

9. Kumar

10. Kuldeep

11.Bumrah

 

That gives us 6 bowling options to find 50 overs from and we having quality batting until 8.  Ideally Chahal should be in the side, but we need a 2nd specialist bowler, an BK looks like a favorite for teh team management. If Hardik could bowl better yorkers I would prefer him over BK, but I don't think he is good enough yet. We also haven't developed another pace allroudner to replace BK, so Chahal looks like the odd man out.
