problem with rahul is he himself is  technically Jhand when comes to batting

* cant play incoming balls

* flashy cover drives of the balls going towards first slip

* clueless vs spin

Do you think Agarwal or Vihari would average better in test cricket than Vijay and Rahul who have bad test averages.  How do you rate Agarwal and Vihari technically. From what I watched at least these two newbies play the format than playing hack shots. Good to see new comers are doing better than sacked seniors. What's your view on this opening pair.

 

No  wicket after 17 overs. Awesome, isn't it.  The benchmarks are low. So feel these two new comers should up the opening standards significantly. Look to bat whole session i.e. another 45 minutes.

In 2014, mayank was this swashbuckling strokemaker suited only for ipl while KL Rahul was this new Dravid like dependable player.  Talk of reversal of roles.
