Only 4 fielders are allowed outside the circle from the 11th to the 40th over.

There are significant gaps still available for prolific boundary hitters like Shaw.

I would like to try out Mayank also in middle order . Plays spin well , plays shots over the in field well to exploit gaps in 11-40over period .

Should be better than some of the guys tried .

Won't happen for sure but how about

Dhawan

Rohit

Shaw

Kohli

Gill

Pant

Pandya

Kuldeep

Shami

Bumrah

Chahal

Shaw to go in at 3 if an early wicket falls. If we get a decent opening partnership, Kohli goes in at 3. No tuk tuk merchants and TTFs in the top 7. Tail looks slightly long with Kuldeep at 8 but Bhuvi can no longer be our first choice pacer along side Bumrah.

would be ideal except for 2 aspects maybe. one is 6th bowler - rohit has the ability in principle, but has given up bowling. second, chahal on flat tracks outside SC is a problem (like the series in eng). I don't like bhuvi in ODIs much, but I think he and chahal will have to be rotated. bhuvi is also a better batting and fielding option than chahal.
