Only Andrew Flintoff was genuine pacer among all-rounders who hit 150 in test. Yeah but currently there are many 145kph pacers all around world. In past there were not alot like that. If you see our domestic bowlers we too have like 5 - 6 bowlers who can clock 145 at times in longer format but they are not all rounders. Stokes and pandya are best deal right now i assume. Especially for a team like India, it is better to have specialist batsmen and a clear segregation between bowlers. The neither here nor there concept never works for India. Suhaan 1 Link to comment
express bowling
Flintoff bowled at all kinds of speeds. 135 - 145 140 - 150 130 - 140 135 - 145 was perhaps the most common in his best years. Rightarmfast, Suhaan and Vilander 3 Link to comment

Before he made his debut to international cricket, he was actually a tear away fast bowler ( thats what the english media spoke, then ). But due to injury, he lost pace and I think in his initial 2-3 yrs, he used to bowl only around 120's-130's. But it was only after 4-5 yrs that he suddenly started hitting 150. Yes, he was mostly a 135-145 bowler. Vilander and express bowling 1 1 Link to comment
