I am not clear what is the VISION of Cricket, we will be getting BIG hitters thru these tracks but as soon as ball moves the russell type batting wont click. rusell is dominating on patta tracks and he will continue to be a big hit but in international wickets there is some movement , pitch is not a Patta and it is not spin friendly in most cases. Lets see. When are we going to learn to bowl on flat decks which is what we will get in the world cup. India needs bowlers to bowl well on flat decks. express bowling Posted April 6, 2019 Share Posted April 6, 2019 (edited) The objective should have been to give such pitches in this IPL which will prepare us somewhat for the upcoming World Cup. Yes ... it is not possible to prepare pitches here that will resemble the ODI pitches in England. But Indian Limited over match pitches are usually not as sluggish or grippy as we have got in most matches in this IPL. Disappointed ! Flat but slightly faster pitches can be orepared in India too.
