wanted_desi Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 I am not really surprised by this exit. Whoever followed Indian cricket closely knew what is India's weakness 1) Top Order inability to survive any type of swing 2) Kohli as Dumb & Defensive Captain, not being able to attack with pace (Shami Exclusion) 3) Dhoni wasting too many balls 4) Karthik/Rayadu/Vijay wasted slot All is not lost, there is so much to look forward ahead, given we have good batsmen waiting to given a chance. They do need a good captain in charge, i would say choosing someone like Rohit to carry team for 2023 would be best decision in sight. I have no doubt we will do really well in 2023 given we give someone smart the charge. chewy 1
chewy Posted July 10, 2019 Posted July 10, 2019 , , ,, , , ,,, It's same mistake made in CT 2017, World 2015. Tactics all wrong, rely on 'superstars' to win games I can assure no rebuild is coming. No introduction of Gill, sacking of Kohli as captain, fast tracking of young quicks is going to be coming.
