One-off fluke spells by ex-jail residents don't change facts. It is what it is. And Wasim Akram was a freak genius of a bowler, but ask Justice Qayum about what he included and excluded in his report and why, and then get back to us about your aukaat. Mohammed Azharuddin was a genius with bat in hand often, but you won't find Indians singing his praises anymore. Same goes with Sreesanth and his legitimate skill with the ball. There's a higher standard, a higher bar here, this is not the ghetto, where all sorts of sins are forgiven or glossed over, in the name of national pride. indeed... azhar was a better batsman in terms of just pure talent than virtually all pak batters since the 80s - better than inzy, yousuf and younis (even though this trio have better stats). but there is a reason why he is not spoken of so highly. stands in big contrast to how akram, imran, mohd. asif, mohd. amir are praised to the skies and beyond.

I was a massive Azhar fan growing up. His betrayal and straying in the pursuit of money breaks my heart. Lot of my friends blame Sangeeta Bijlani for "leading him astray", which is nonsense. And his skill with the bat was/is undeniable. But he can never, ever be part of any discussion on cricket history, stats or talent.

Mirpur express Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 Indians top now but still crying about what happened when the world was much younger. It's only natural because they still feel inferior to us. Physically Pakistanis are superior. I mean we naturally produce more fast bowlers and the average Pakistani male is 6 cm taller than the average Indian male. Imran of course was a great bowler. Just take the example of when he went to West Indies in 1988 when he was about 37 and look at his output. He was an amazing cricketer. You can do all these in depth rubbish.

Aamer Sohail, Rameez Raja, Shoaib Akhtar, Shahbaz Shereef , Sadiq Mohammed & himself all have given testimonies w.r.t kaptaan saheb PM's ball tampering expertise directly or indirectly at one time or other , let alone his contemporary non Pakistanis & cricket related people. You just do a google search w.r.t Imran and each name I mentioned along with the word 'ball tampering, if you are bold enough. They we can decide as to who is talking rubbish.
