Kartikey
Now that SRT is injured, one place is free in the middle order, with RD, VVS and SG taking the other 3. In all likelyhood, the No.6 position will be between these 2 unless they decide to play 5 bowlers, so who is your choice? Yuvi or Kaify?? Link to comment
msb1991
I feel that there should be a third option on the poll, since it is not impossible for India to pick Irfan Pathan and go with the five bowlers. Link to comment
Predator_05
Will - Yuvraj Should - Kaif Link to comment
ICFtoday
If its going to be a flat pitch just like the one we had at Chepauk then we could play either one of these. Kaif has done very well in the domestic season and desrves a call. but yuvi has the potential to break loose on dead pitches. both are equally good according to me but given a choice, kaif might be a fair choice since yuvi has already been given a chance in australia. mind you, this test will not be a test of their potential. i hope india dont play 5 bowlers at ahmedabad. theguyinallblue
i just hope Ahmadabad pitch is a sporting wicket...not a dead pitch... otherwise if Yuvi gets a chance to play in XI..he will score some decent runs..and then we will have to see him play next 10 matches ..doing modeling on the pitch and scoring ducks.. Dravid
has to be yuvi... atleast he will score faster... we dont need another dravid/vvs in our team-->kaif Link to comment
graphic23
I'd like Kaif. I haven't watched him play in a while. Yuvraj, until he starts fielding sharply and at point, is not ready for any cricket, I feel. He's just too good a fielder to not focus on regaining fitness and field at point again. So, in view of that, I'd like to see Kaif and hopefully, he'll be able to take full advantage of this. Link to comment
fineleg
Indian pitches - flat track (Test) bullies will be up for selection. Yuvi will play ahead of Kaif. YS will likely score in Indian pitches. Link to comment
Rohan495
Has to be Yuvraj or it will make the indian selection panel look stupid for selecting yuvraj in the first place. Link to comment
Rohan495
Pathan. he should play for sure in place of harbhajan Link to comment
Desi Cartman
Will - Yuvraj Should - Kaif I agree :hatsoff: Link to comment
Mr. Wicket
he should play for sure in place of harbhajan They stuck with him for ages while he was averaging 40-50 per wicket, now that he's just taken 8 on a flat track do you really think they'll boot him? Link to comment
Ram
The last time Yuvraj played a test match, he blazed to an outstanding innings of 160. It simply doesnt make ANY sense to select someone who hasnt played test cricket for nearly two years now, over him, in the team. Link to comment
Laaloo
The last time Yuvraj played a test match in INDIA' date= he blazed to an outstanding innings of 160. sm332
neither ... play a fifth bowler if it is another patta .. otherwise it really shouldnt be either but I reckon it wont matter much either way Link to comment
Ram
73% of the respondents believe Kaif should bat at no.6 !?! Mind-blowing ! Link to comment
