zen Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 In Ind conditions, by and large, all teams are competitive. It would depend upon the form of the players. Team A of course has a good spin attack so can be more lethal on day 4 and day 5. Team A can play a pacer from Ghavri, Prabhakar, Roger Binny, Chetan Sharma, Madan Lal, etc., as well if required.
Adamant Posted August 11, 2020 Posted August 11, 2020 Great teams, Spin bowling attack: Team A>Team C>Team A. The most important player here will be the wicketkeeper ofcourse: Kirmani~Saha>>>>Dhoni All teams have great batsman (in home conditions) Batting strength: Team B~team A>team c Fast bowling Team C>>>Team A~team B Overall I"ll say Team A>Team C>Team B.

He was awful in catching snicks ,his performance in series against Australia and England in 2012-13 was downright atrocious. Secondly you can easily replace kirmani by engineer ,there won't be a drastic drop in wicketkeeping quality and you will get a batsman as good as dhoni . Rohit's performance has been great in India but he hasn't faced a real challenge against spin in india.I will wait for his performance against Nathan Lyon before branding him as a good batsman against spin Batting line-up B vs C Sehwag>>Rohit(Sehwag is by far the GOAT in indian conditions)Sorry,no competition. Bashing Murali,Warne,Mendis, macgill >bashing muthusamy, maharaj, badree etc Mayank >Vijay Pujara>Dravid Kohli=Tendulkar Kl<<Laxman Ganguly>>>>>Saha Dhoni>>Jadeja The comparison is not at all one sided but still team B wins.

He has had some spectacular performances: a) Vs SA, his 300 made Ind compete b) Vs SA, this is from memory, Ind lost the first test at Nagpur (or something), then Sehwag softened SA bowlers at Kol c) vs Pak, B’lore - after he got out, the team folded in the last inning. Could not even survive 2 sessions e) set up the chase vs Eng, enabling Ind to win f) so on These were some good attacks!
