Vk1 Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Team again seems to rely heavily on 3 or 4 superstar players.. nice to see some young Indian batsmen doing well.. Manish Pandey has proved again and again that he is useless.. For next auction they should pick a top Indian batsman or sit silent.. not buy likes of Pandey while trying for KL Rahul.. Bairstow's keeping is regressing and might prove costly during the business end.. they can take Saha and forget that he is a batsman.. dont do the mistake of picking a WK and trying to maximise his batting by altering the batting order like RCB do with Parthiv. Hope to seem them giving more opportunities to the trio of Abhishek, Samad and Garg. As of now my hopes would be pinned on Samad and Abhishek.. would like to see Samad promoted @3 as a pinch hitter on somedays just to see what he can do.. looks like Agarwal has the power n timing.. Garg.. though he played well he could barely hit anything straight or in the midwicket area.. lets hope he showcases that in future.. Bhuvi and Natarajan can form a potent death bowling pair.. Khaleel looks ordinary.. they can probably bring in Stanlake by dropping Bairstow and see how it goes. If they pick V Shankar, should make him play at 3 in place of M Pandey. For Pandey, he should get max of 3 more games.. that's it.. they wasted too many matches on Deepak Hooda as well.. these guys are not superstars to come good like Watson in crucial games.
Serpico Posted October 3, 2020 Posted October 3, 2020 Bhuvi doesn't look fit enough to play the entire season Why don't they just play kane at 3? their 3 best batsmen should get most number of balls. Then can alternate no. 4 between pandey and samad depending on when second wicket falls

Sonix768 Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 They could give Bairstow finisher role, which they lack now and someone like samad at opening to have full license to go ballistic on powerplay. With the insurance of KW and Pandey they can afford his wicket in pp.

Pandey and Garg are good enough to play that role. lMO they are missing big hitters in the lower order, samad is good but he needs support from the other end, need to drop Williamson and play Fabian allen guy can hit and bowl some decent left arm spin.
