I watched his 22 balls .... very good on backfoot, some issues with fullish stuff .... got out to a bad ball (hit it to the fielder) .... I guess, he could be better than Gill and Shaw as opener in tests  .... Shami bowls up so that could be a challenge for him

he also survived a close LBW against Umesh a couple of overs ago. Looked bang average,

Didn’t  hit a couple of half volleys either.

 

People called him a Warner/Finch type player.

As I said some issues w/ fullish stuff early on but appears talented and confident
