I thought Bumrah was the best of the 4 pacers in terms of consistently looking threatening.

 

All the others were threatening only in certain spells.

 

The biggest issue was that we bowled during the best batting conditions in the first innings

He was too short..made the batsmen play but too short.

He had the one stock ball short of length and then the yorker which he used a few times.I would actually hope he cut down on pace and pitched up further.

I was just checking Bumrah's " Bee-hive " after you posted this. A very high percentage of his non-yorker deliveries were stump level.

 

Showing thereby that his length was rather good on this surface.

 

And he needs to up his pace if anything and not reduce it. He would get more dismissals then.
