Bumrah is a regular only because he is a gun bowler. If he is only barely above the level of Thakur, Thakur will be preferred over Bumrah due to his batting potential. Given that our batsmen cannot bowl to save their lives they are forcing bowlers to become all rounders. In Kohli's case he can't catch, can't bowl.
