I think this is the golden age. Marvel, John Hick all are excellent entertainment.

That period (20-60) is referred to as the golden age (and it has reasons which can be googled) … I do not watch Marvel much now unless there is something particular that I like … JW is pretty good for action fans. Waiting for part 4. I can watch them 2 times then the repeat viewings produce diminishing returns (unless watching after a considerable gap)

They do refer to 1910/1920 to 1960 as the golden age but for me present day entertainment means more. Matrix, Predator, Bourne, Godfather etc. are amazing.

From the golden age not every film would have aged well now. Some films would be a 100 years old! ... But the good ones usually tend to be timeless and takes you back to the good old Hollywood
