Looks like Eng could play two spinners while Kohli persists on sidelining Ashwin...

Moeen mostly won’t play, butler will replace him in the line up. England might go pace heavy once again given the rain prediction and high possibility of crowd cover for most of the match. Wood might come in for Overton and leach for Anderson (50-50 with respect to Anderson, on one hand he has already handled a huge workload in this series so far given his age but also this match will be played on his home ground)

Good signs - so there is at least a likelihood of pitch being dry and spin friendly. It could also mean that they think Woakes can do the all-rounder role and bat at 7. So batting could look something like below from no.6 down (top 5 same as 4th test)

6. Bairstow/Buttler

7.  Woakes

8. Overton

9. Robinson/Wood

10. Leach

11. Anderson

Still gives them the 4+1 combination with a much better spinner and batting up to No. 9. This will be a much more balanced bowling attack and reasonable depth in batting. Moeen tends to go for runs. Leach is a much better spinner and likely to get more wickets. He will also be economical even if he doesn't contribute with wickets. I look forward to Pant vs Leach if he plays:cheer:
