Not sure how Dhoni is in the anti-Kohli group. He has a good relationship with Virat and has helped him a lot on the field in ODIs and T20s with his tips and suggestions. Virat too has a lot of respect for him. Plus they never tried to screw each other's careers, something which they usually do to players they don't like.
Vilander Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Mumbaikars usually band together and claim other mumbaikars are best it’s very common they are shameless this way. Others are aight.

This was the case till a few years back, however since the WTC finals loss, looks like most of Virat's friends have deserted him, partly due to his arrogance & partly due to his incompetence as a captain. MSD influence has allowed R Ashwin into the team, Virat would have preferred someone like Krishnappa Gautam (saying that he can bat a bit) . Also MSD preferred Rahul Chahar over Yuzi Chahal means he too is going the Rohit Sharma way now!
