Number Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 In a event with purely 50/50 probability of win or loss, his win/loss ratio in 205 games in .70 (85 won 120 lost). Other than Richie Richardson (.74 in 155 games), for no captain in the history of game (>100 matches) this ratio has dropped below .80. In T20 internationals it is even worse .62 (18 won 29 lost). few of the records he has made like 5 tosses lost in a row or just 2 wins in 12 games in a row, are sort of things whose probability is very very low but they happen with him frequently. Why does he have such a rotten luck ? Or is it our bad luck as fans ?
sensible-indian Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 (edited) Prarabdha karma. Nothing he can do. Edited November 1, 2021 by sensible-indian
vvvslaxman Posted September 9, 2022 Posted September 9, 2022 Well ....... I think our captains should try sangakkara method. Just call "Hails" instead of heads or tail and get a retoss if we lose it. Frustrated 1
