I really enjoy the load shedding too, while natural candle/oil lamps lights become so much beautiful in the absence of electric lights. You know what, this year I bought this small Diya (oil lamp) and I have placed it in the front of my house. But at the same time I am afraid of my Muslim neighbours too. But hopefully, they will be unable to imagine that it is Diwali celebration. A Pakistani friend of mine is in Sri Lanka, and she ha just told me that Sri Lankans are also enjoying the festival of Diwali as their own festival. The Puri's for the Chole Bhature turned out like pappad's, but that's a small inconvenience Lighting up Divya's, catching up with family and friends and, being grateful for everything we have, it was a good day.
