Any reason why Chris Lynn was not given a second chance?

He had a great BBL season 2021. Article at the bottom explains why he was  omitted. But having seen Smith's pathetic batting in T20 i think they should give him another chance. Superb fielder. And a clean striker.

Cant play leg spin. Shadab wd have trapped him second ball. So would any half decent leg spinner
