Also that winning match has to be the stupidest point ever. Today in last few years india wins every match they score just 300 in first innings. In sachin time they scored 300 for fun. Having a goat bowling attack helps. Today india would lose no match if peak sachin was around 

Who says India did not play many tests in series. When Laxman could 500 runs in a 3 test series. Did anyone stop Sachin from scoring. In Sachin's era  they played on flattest decks that is why average score was higher. This ERA has most bowler friendly wickets.So stop giving this nonsense that Sachin played in difficult era.

 

We are talking about Ponting he played mostly in Sachin's Era. Ponting at his peak as few rivals.Sachin does not even come close to Ponting at his peak.

What great bowlers did Sachin face in his careers.Sachin was never better than Ponting in his peak. Ponting was a monster which Sachin would never come close.There is reason why Sachin never cracked 900 rating.Unlike Steady eddy Sachin, Punter won matches for his team. His twin 100s in his 100th test is work of a legend..

Coz ponting had two of the greatest bowlers of all time in his lineup mcgrath and warne plus very good bowlers in gillispie and lee,its the bowlers that wins u matches hence better record for punter ,people remember 281, but had it not been for bhajji aus would have won that series
