THX_1138 Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 There is simply NO WAY big cities can be protected...almost anyone can plant a few bombs in train stations, bus stands etc. But where there is intelligence available, and always it is the usual suspects who are masterminds, preventive and deterrant action can be taken. But Govts dont do it for fear of being called "anti muslim" etc...and dont do combing operations. And also, AFTER they are caught and tried too, courts lets them go with minor slap on the wrists. Thats what happened in Coimbatore blasts. 58 people were killed and over 150 injured in serial bomb blasts in Coimbatore on Feb 14 1998. The conspiracy , called Operation Allah hu Akbar was targetted at the assassination of LK Advani and to create total chaos in TN during elections, by the Al Ummah Abdul Nasser Madhani and SA Basha , Al Ummah leaders were the main masterminds behind the serail blasts, which LK Advani escaped as his plane was delayed by a technical snag in Kerala. After a long trail Madhani was acquitted of all charges and released , and he issued a statement that he will shun extremist politics !!!!! SA Basha and a few others were awarded life sentences, to be adjusted against the time they spent in prison !!! Most of them got away scot free ! facking bastards...must have been hanged in public...that ALONE will send a tough message to anti national forces in the country and also their mentors across the border that India cannot be taken for granted. But we are making ourselves soft targets for these terrorists by our extremely soft approach to punishing the mass murderers....because some political people are interested in sending out messages "we support minorities"...what a facked up way to support minorities....by being soft on terrorists....even NORMAL muslims hate these terrorists and dont want the Govt to be soft on these criminals. i have friend who served in the Indian Army in Kashmir from 1996 to 1998. He told me that whenever terrorists attacked vunerable sections of the population, such as school children or women... once apprehended, in a brutual summary judgement, the troops would castrate the pig (no pun intended) and then go about the business of arresting, prosecuting, imprisoning... at at times as a sign of further anger and disgust, the removed testicles would be sent to his co conspirators... i ask you this... how many attacks has such brutality managed to deter? have the terrorists stopped attacking schools and children, have they stopped raping unarmed and innocent women? brutality cannot be countered with brutality. if the terrorists have the resolve to set aside their morals and attack innocent civilians, we must match their resolve with an even more steely resolve. we must not deter in the face of adversity... we must not falter, we must not deviate... borrow a page out of the one good thing the united states has done in the past five years... they gave the "12th hijacker" in the 9/11 attacks his day in court and then a punishment befiting of his crime, not more, not less.
Guest HariSampath Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 and what punishment befits a crime which is basically killing hundreds of innocent civilians ? Imprisonment for a few years ( that is the law of life sentence)....and once they get out, they will be back to their old hobby....that is not enough. How is sentencing a man who has killed 100 ppl for no reason , to death by legal process, be called "barbaric" ? Its not some "barbaric middle eastern" practice ( my ref to public hanging was a hype to indicate they must be hanged in full "view" of the world, meaning full knowledge of the world as to why they are being hanged). Death sentence has to be given for perpetrators of mass violence, mass murderers of totally innocent people. It serves as a deterrent that Govt is tough on insane mass murders, and it DOES NOT take the place of other measures like prevention, detection etc, but ALSO serves the purpose , it is justice for the victims' families and victims too have rights. It is society's act of self defence and NOT barbarism
Guest HariSampath Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Justice must be served, in adherence of indian laws... the perpatrators caught, given their day in court and then sentenced... hopefully not to death, as a life for a life is not justice but a barbarian's way of life. Quick, decisive police work is needed here... the victims must be provided with excellent healthcare at the cost to the center, and a probe launched to investigate how this could have been avoided. Lets refrain from the public hanging bullshit people... this is India, a democracy, not some filth ridden Middle East kingdom state where the law is as barbaric and uncivilized as their culture. India prevails! All hangings are essentially "public" in the sense it is with the full approval and knowledge of the public, and according to the law. It is just not in "filth ridden middle eastern country"...even in the so called advanced democracies like USA, death sentence is still the law in several states. And even in USA, victims' families are allowed to witness the hangings and also representatives of the public. Is this barbaric ? I do not think so. Society defends itself against those who try to kill masses in great numbers. Even animals defend themselves and when in danger of being killed, they resort to killing too. All of life has a right to defend itself ; and when scum like these kill innocent masses for no reason, they lose the right to life and liberty; and killing them legally is certainly not barbaric. It is justice.

fineleg Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 RIP . Sad state affairs we are living in ... Bombs can go off at any time' date=' any place ...[/quote'] Yes, they need to find the perpetrators quickly, and dont go soft on them after arresting them. India needs to deal with this swiftly. Our prime ministers talk a lot, but ACT!
Ram Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Death is sad, whoever it is and whatever the causes be. Dont know how many families will be in turmoil after the events of today.
Guest Hiten. Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Not again. Why can't these guys 'live and let live'. What exactly do they achieve when they blow people who have hardly done anything wrong to them or their family ? 'Common man' is the prime target of politicians' atrocity, polices' manhandling and these fcktards' bomb blowing streak. RIP (all) who didn't deserve to leave the world in this fashion :((
IndianRenegade Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 The solution to any problem is identifying the problem. this we will never do, because we are destined to die as politically correct and factually wrong fools.
Sachinism Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Two arrested over Jaipur blasts The seven bombs killed 80 people including 10 children and injured another 200 when they went off over a 20-minute period in the city’s crowded bazaars on Tuesday evening. An eighth device failed to detonate. “We have arrested two people and have detained several more for questioning,†said Vasundhara Raje, the chief minister of Rajasthan state of which Jaipur is the capital. Mrs Raje, who belongs to the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party, made a thinly veiled jibe at India’s neighbouring nuclear rival Pakistan. “This seems to have been done by some international group,†she claimed. Pakistan-based Islamic militants, fighting Indian rule in the disputed Jammu and Kashmir province, are blamed routinely for such attacks. The bombings on Tuesday were Jaipur’s first in an India wracked by terrorist attacks. The state police chief, Amarjeet S Gill, said that nine teams of terrorists were deployed to carry out the bombings. Mrs Raje also said that the bombs used in the attack were a mix of plastic RDX explosive, ammonium nitrate and ball-bearings that acted like tiny missiles once the devices were detonated. Officials and witnesses said these ball bearings, which were yesterday still embedded in walls and doors in areas where the blasts took place, were largely responsible for the fatalities. Officials said the bombs were all tied to newly purchased bicycles and scattered in a 500 yard arc around the busy market place that is the hub of Jaipur’s emerald and gold market and the city’s principal commercial centre. They were detonated within a 20-minute period beginning at 7.20pm. Investigations had revealed that all the bicycles had been bought locally in Jaipur. "They (the bombs) were ensured to inflict the maximum damage at a time when the market was packed,†said R S Malik, a banker who witnessed one of the explosions near a Hindu temple. It was meticulously planned and diabolically executed, he added. "Jaipur’s fate is now sealed as it has become the terrorists’ target,†said Sanjay Bhatia, who was speaking from his bed in a local hospital, where he was carried after first being given up for dead. Its future is bleak, he lamented. Nearby lay four-year old Sameena Khan who had lost her mother and two aunts in the blasts as they had accompanied her shopping. “There is no one left for me in this world,†she whispered. Police, meanwhile, imposed a daylong curfew in Jaipur to prevent any retaliatory violence between the city’s majority Hindu community and Muslims who comprise around a fifth of Jaipur’s population. "The curfew is a precaution to ensure peace,†said Mrs Raje. The authorities suspect Islamic militants were behind the blasts, and though no one has claimed responsibility for them, like most bombings in India, a “foreign country†determined to wreck India’s growing prosperity has been blamed by the government. The allegation, which refers to Pakistan, came as India claimed to have been the victim of “unprovoked†gunfire by the Pakistani army across the disputed Kashmir border in violation of a four-year old ceasefire. The Indian authorities, however, remain circumspect about blaming Pakistan explicitly as the Jaipur bombings come a week before the foreign minister Pranab Mukherjee travels to Islamabad to attempt to revive the stalled bilateral peace process. President Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan and his prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, however, have condemned the Jaipur blasts as have many other senior politicians in Islamabad. But India believes that many Islamic militant groups attempting to infiltrate its territory in northern Jammu and Kashmir state from across the disputed border in recent days were backed by Pakistan. Meanwhile, funeral processions marched through Jaipur all day as the dead were cremated. “We never even dreamt that such a thing could happen to our family and city,†said M K Sharma of his Brahmin brother who died while leading the prayers in a temple that was targeted. “It’s worse than karmaâ€, he added. source: telegraph (UK)
Guest HariSampath Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 It is now almost confirmed that HuJI...Harkat-ul-jehadi is behind the blasts....facking bstrds
Guest HariSampath Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Religion of Peace?!? wtf....u mean mass bombing terrorists...sonsofb1thches...no religion for them
youngindia Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Religion of Peace?!? troublemaking moron...at a basic level, its not about religion but about ideology and values... don't delude yourself. your ideology is no different from the scum just the shut hell up.
Guest HariSampath Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 relax dude...I think what he meant was that all these terrorist acts are being committed in the "name of Islam" which is supposedly a religion of peace..I think he was referring to the fact all this is in the name of jehadis or whatever that fack they call themselves...like I said these bstrds dont have any religion and even normal muslims will disown them
IndianRenegade Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 It is now almost confirmed that HuJI...Harkat-ul-jehadi is behind the blasts....facking bstrds Actually, Guru-al-Hindi an organization which supposedly carried out the Malegaon blast seems to be the culprit. They have sent an email containing images of the cycle with the bombs placed in it. And lets stop being politically correct and make statements like this has got nothing to do with religion. Any expert on terrorism would say otherwise.
Sachinism Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 ^^ the authenticity of the pics and the group are yet to be confirmed? or has it been confirmed?
IndianRenegade Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 ^^ the authenticity of the pics and the group are yet to be confirmed? or has it been confirmed? yet to be confirmed....
IndianRenegade Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 Whatever some secularists, and moderates say it is true that these people are inspired by religion do such atrocities. Turning a blind eye to their interpretation of their religion doesn't in anyway solve the problem.
gs Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 troublemaking moron...at a basic level, its not about religion but about ideology and values... don't delude yourself. your ideology is no different from the scum just the shut hell up. First off, I have the bloody right to voice my opinion and you can either take it or leave it. So :finger: to your shut up comment. You have no freakin clue to what my idealogy is, so again :finger: I never said it was about religion, but like Hari mentioned it is being done in the name of ROP. That's the reason I sarcastically pointed out that 80 odd people were butchered in the name of the so called "peaceful" religion.:hatsoff:
