This is very out of character for Rajasthan which has no history of this but perhaps that is an anomaly given its proximity to the border. My deepest sympathies are with the families which were affected and the rising death toll just shows how horrible the blasts were and the final toll might be much worse than we can imagine. This is going to go down as one of the worst blasts in the country

Political parties must NOT campaign for reducing sentence for these TERRORISTS. Then he started a political outfit and because of votes reason, the TN govt wants to go slow on him, and even 10 years after the serial blasts..he is living happily...scot free !!

A bit like the Delhi bombings back in '05 before Diwali. Honestly, when terrorists try so hard to kill, there is little the authorities can do about it (in terms of prevention) unless they get some sort of inside information.

But Govts dont do it for fear of being called "anti muslim" etc...and dont do combing operations. And also, AFTER they are caught and tried too, courts lets them go with minor slap on the wrists. Thats what happened in Coimbatore blasts. 58 people were killed and over 150 injured in serial bomb blasts in Coimbatore on Feb 14 1998. The conspiracy , called Operation Allah hu Akbar was targetted at the assassination of LK Advani and to create total chaos in TN during elections, by the Al Ummah Abdul Nasser Madhani and SA Basha , Al Ummah leaders were the main masterminds behind the serail blasts, which LK Advani escaped as his plane was delayed by a technical snag in Kerala. After a long trail Madhani was acquitted of all charges and released , and he issued a statement that he will shun extremist politics !!!!! SA Basha and a few others were awarded life sentences, to be adjusted against the time they spent in prison !!! Most of them got away scot free ! facking bastards...must have been hanged in public...that ALONE will send a tough message to anti national forces in the country and also their mentors across the border that India cannot be taken for granted. But we are making ourselves soft targets for these terrorists by our extremely soft approach to punishing the mass murderers....because some political people are interested in sending out messages "we support minorities"...what a facked up way to support minorities....by being soft on terrorists....even NORMAL muslims hate these terrorists and dont want the Govt to be soft on these criminals.
THX_1138 Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Justice must be served, in adherence of indian laws... the perpatrators caught, given their day in court and then sentenced... hopefully not to death, as a life for a life is not justice but a barbarian's way of life. Quick, decisive police work is needed here... the victims must be provided with excellent healthcare at the cost to the center, and a probe launched to investigate how this could have been avoided. Lets refrain from the public hanging bullshit people... this is India, a democracy, not some filth ridden Middle East kingdom state where the law is as barbaric and uncivilized as their culture. India prevails!
