No matter how many ones and twos you run, there is no substitute for sixes. That's why Kohli is a misfit. It can be argued that once a batsman has played 15-20 balls, he should be the one going after the bowlers rather than someone very new to crease.

And I think Chahal has to be dropped now. Was always a liability in the field and with the bat and now with his bowling not being effective Axar must replace him. BTW good to see you back. Never been a big fan of Chahal, yesterday he did struggle with dew but a top class spinner should at least not be throwing full tosses . He basically choked like he always does under pressure Thanks , I havent seen you post a lot as well recently? Number 1

Post Olympics following a lot of other sports too. We are doing good in Hockey, Badminton, Wrestling and Boxing with a couple of other sports. Hopefully will focus on Cricket till WT20 and then disappear again.
Nikhil_cric Posted September 5, 2022 Posted September 5, 2022 (edited) Indian batsmen don't slog sweep or reverse sweep effectively or often and we dont have left handers capable of taking them on either . Also, Shadab and Nawaz have bowled brilliantly whereas Chahal has neither offered control nor shown wicket taking threat. Edited September 5, 2022 by Nikhil_cric
