Cricketics Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 Goal Goal Goalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll 42nd Goal Of This Season For Ronaldo We Are Up 1-0
Dhondy Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 Woohoo, just as they talk of taking Scholesey off, a perfect one two with Brown, and a far post header from Man United's best player. Baaam!
Holysmoke Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 honors even at half time. those misses are going to haunt man utd
Dhondy Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 Lucky, lucky Chelsea! Carrick should have buried that rebound in the 35th. Smart move it was- Rooney long ball across fully 50 yards to Ronaldo, onrushing Tevez (should have scored 10 minutes later as well), and two desperate saves from Cech. Lampard wins the lotteryball again. Shamelessly lucky git.
Guest Hiten. Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 Had terry not slipped, Chelsea could've won. But he had to slip. Match fixing ? :P
Dhondy Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 Typical choke from John Terry. No wonder England lose all the penalties. Ronaldo- 42 friggin' goals in the season. What a player!
Dhondy Posted May 21, 2008 Posted May 21, 2008 Ten England players started that game tonight. Some fans will take that as some kind of renaissance in the national team's fortunes. Nothing could be further from the truth. Except Scholes & Hargreaves, all the others are massively overrated. The two Coles, Lampard, Terry, Brown, Ferdinand, Rooney...all sub standard, overpaid, overhyped players. English clubs, on the other hand, are not doing too badly. This was the 11th Champion's League win by an English side- exactly the same as Italy and Spain. That's some achievement, despite being kicked out of the competition for a full five years in the 80s after the Heysel disaster.
