Look, it can't be easy for an entire generation of Aus fans brought up on decades of dominating the game, to suddenly lose back to back to back test series home and away like this.  Would a fan rather face reality that his team after 2 decades of dominance suddenly is second-best at best? Or let its inner racist out to whine and moan?  We are all human and all susceptible to this.
