If he can just be preserved for home /Asian tests  and selective tests in SENA ( and reasonably compensated for loss of income in other forms of cricket )  - he can eke out another 3 years. I think he himself will be super motivated to achieve 500 test wickets. Which may take atleast 2 more bumper home seasons.

 

 

ash will get to 500 I think, but for that he needs only about 5 home tests and a couple of overseas tests. this is consistent with what I said - I see him playing for 1 or 2 years more.
