Will be interesting to see the teams though....  Sri lanka are defending champs of Asian games I guess.  Pakistan hasn't played but it will now as it is in China & now India is sending its team too. 

7-8 teams maybe.

Cricket needs newer teams to create a more competitive environment. 
 

Right now Aus and Eng are continuing the game because of its traditional roots. However, SA and NZ are losing some steam. NZ and Eng are in fact also relying on imports from SA. 
 

If cricket can catch on in a country like China, which has a huge pool to develop a variety of cricketers and where players can be focused too (as seen in some of other other sports), it can infuse freshness to the game.
