Indian Players Mentally Very Weak

Mental ability/toughness came into discussion after Ind's early exit in the 2021 T20 wc. In my opinion  its overall cricketing ability of the TM and players.

In white ball-Since Yuvi and Raina left Ind was unable to find a decent 4,5,6. They have been winning on the backs of their top 3's performance.The day these top 3 failed Ind found it hard to even compete.

 

Even after hosting the biggest T20 league donot think Ind still gets what is T20 or may be the star culture is sure big that they donot allow proper t20 players in the Intnls.

Sky has to wait atleast 2 years to get into the team. They picked Hooda for whome they do-not even know where to play him. They have been playing with sub 135 SR batters in their top 6, neither they can take advantage of PP nor they can finish too strong.

 

All last 3/4 years they have been looking for a LAF bowler but still they are unable to find 1. Ind team clearly needs LH batters in top 4 but rt. now all they have are RHers.

Due to which they have to ask Jadeja or Axar to come into the middle order. A good bowling side in high stakes games will not let these batters to score freely.

 

Rather than blooding in new talent they are picking older refused players with no x-factor -Unadkat, Mavi, Mukesh Kumar.

 

And in Tests all the wins have came by the rescue jobs done by lower order batters. There has been no fixed openers, no 3 and 5 have been playing for so long with a average of sub 45.

 

There are other problems too (Pant's replacement no ready yet, fielding, leg spinner, bowlers cannot bat, batters cannot bowl ) but considering all these, more than mental weakness its cricketing abilities.

No. People from lower ranked communities make up our archery team and they are the worst chokers in Indian sporting community. When you look at their chokes the last decade even our cricketers will appear like mental beasts. 

hockey has regressed post-olympics, dunno why
