Jaiswal isn't bowling anymore. Abhishek Sharma stopped bowling and now his bowling has regressed, Abdul Samad stopped bowling, Venkatesh Iyer, Vijay Shankar, Shivam Dube...they're hardly bowling these days, on top of that this doofus rule of power player in IPL which is now creeping up in SMAT as well. Bowling allrounders might still find a way to survive. But batting allrounders are now an endangered species. sarfaraz khan used to bowl in U19 as well
AKane Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 There are a lot of interested people who want their "man" in the team. 1) Regions trying to get their local man in. 2) IPL teams trying to get their man in. 3) Advertisers trying to get their man in. 4) Politicians trying to get their local man in. 5) Ex-players trying to get their favorite player in. 6) The man himself pulling strings to get himself in. 7) Lastly there are the ones who truly deserve to be in. All this results in unsettled chaos and it is not going to get better with Herr Dravid in there. An external coach may be able to tune some of the above out.
R!TTER Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 No one will do jack *, we'll just have our IPL maharathis unleash their vaanar sena if the yar wronged before any tour or "ICC trophy" - as it is nothing matters more than IPL to BCCI & a lot of players, why the * should we care?
