 That knock was way ahead of time besides if we had lost it would not have had the same amount of accoldades.

Getting accolades and dismissing them as useless are two different things.Same Kapil score 129 against SA with one hand , it did not become useless just because India lost the match.

 

One player cannot win a match.Winning a match takes multiple player performing. 

 

Jadeja's innings would have ended up as winning knock if Dhoni played his part.

there is no would have should have. There was this thing Sunil Gavaskar said right after India's failure at Chepauk after Sachin's epic 136. "Don't leave your job to others".  There was another occasion where India needed 19 in 3 overs when sachin was on 171. He got out. India imploded.  Yea great effort. At the end of the day it didn't make any difference.  Kohli's 141 at Adelaide oval would have been epic if he had carried INdia to win. But Pant's 91 will always be considered as one of the most icnoic knock in India history
