IMO what is Ashwin doing sitting on the bench, a guy like Tilak Verma would be more handy than Ashwin.They wanted to select Axar when they already had Jadeja, what is Kishan doing, you don't need two WKs.

 

Didn't NZ stumble on Rachin.If they think Tilak Verma as a talent and he fills the void then IMO there should be no need to play 100 matches.

 

But that is a mute point now. I would play the same playing XI for rest of the tournament.

Ashwin will only play if jaddu/kuldeep is injured. Tilak will not ne in contention for that spot. Kishan will play for any batsman injury. Tilak, Jaiswal etc should just book tickets for the ahmedabad stadium

If there is an injury , they can always call Ashwin, they are playing in India.They all can have 4 extra players as standys. BCCI is not short of money to pay for extra accommodation. Why handicap captain .

 

Prasidh, Kishan, Ashwin can come in only if there is an injury but guy like Tilak can come in as combination IMO.

so get in prashid for sky. Then might as well forfiet the game. So 5 out 6 bowlers who are just straight up trash at batting (minus jadeja). Even zampa = 5 of them. Imagine india being 20/3 and we have to suffer rahul and maybe kolhi tuk tuk till 46th over. Thats painful and im not being awake at 230 am to watch that!
