He isnt short tbh. He is very close to 6 foot but in SA you need to be 6'2. 2 to 3 inches makes a huge difference.

You don't have to be. You need pace. Steyn at 5'10" and Ryan Harris at 5'11" did well in these conditions 

 

Airspeed is more important to pick wickets but yeah it's always an added advantage of you have high release bowlers if they are only 135 kph.

Mukesh missed his mark and got clobbered on both occasions. Simply can't afford any error at his pace and height. Absolutely none.

Yea bunrah and shami do well there too. But they can crank it to 135 to 145. That's the difference. 

Also both have nasty bumpers
