Frustrated
Unbelievable that a part time spinner picks up 5 top order wickets against world's No.1 side on a green pitch that resembles amazon rain forest. Link to comment
vvvslaxman
Stupid NZ team management not giving even a single over to Philips in the first innings. Off spin is Australia's weakness. Link to comment

But they paid the price for not going in with specialist spinner after rolling out a seamer track. They could have tried Glen philips atleast against Josh. I am right about that. Stupids. Frustrated
Don't think it would be appropriate to call NZ pitches as being the most spin unfriendly. Lyon picked up 4 wickets yesterday(Day 2) and phillips has picked 5 so far (Day 3). Kron 1 Link to comment

Besides Australia is notorious weak against spin. Even when Australia made 150 in 15 overs at Dharamsala, moment they brought on philipos he completely halted the scoring. Link to comment

However, Phillips, in the inning break today, said: "the pitch is assisting spin. And it will be a huge challenge to handle Lyon and the Aus pacers" Kron 1 Link to comment

Match will be over today Frustrated 1 Link to comment
Frustrated
The way things are going at the moment, Lyon might end up picking 7-8 wickets in this inning alone. Link to comment

Why is it spinning suddenly? Whenever we go, it doesnt turn a mm? Unless its our inept spinners ability on such pitches Link to comment

Unless its our inept spinners ability on such pitches India lost 3 matches in a row to NZ neutral/away. It is not the spin that is the problem. It is the pace bar Ishant. Link to comment

Unless its our inept spinners ability on such pitches I too wonder the same. Green pitches are usually not known for assisting spin. But this one clearly is assisting sharp turn and bounce.
