Imagine our teams with Abhishek at top Parag at 4 and Shashank at 6

We don't have a powerful all-rounder at 7.

Bowlers who can bat at 8 or 9 is also missing, other than jadeja ,axar or shardul. So effectively batting only till no 6 against int bowlers .

Much like jadeja and axar ,Tewatia also lacks power while batting  ,which is essential in t20s and Odis, but unlike those two he can hit in unusual areas .Also slow on his feet and not the best in the field or while running, and haven't seen him bowl,as an all-rounder he will have to bowl.

Haven't seen Harshit bat either, and batting down you always face difficult situations.Sai is a good option.

Barar is also , another sla who can bat.

8 and 9 are usually there for 2-3 overs max. These guys can do well there. Can't compromise on bowling quality on 8-9

Tewatia because people want a batting AR here. Otherwise can just pick a hitter

Ideally want high quality bowlers who can bat at 8,9 like Cummins , rashid. We don't have anyone of that caliber.

Sanvir Singh can play that role..can bat at 7.

Although now the next excuse will be that he is untested.

Harshit is good, technically better and can hit big.

That the problem with bcci, doesn't know how to make a team.I guess we will be playing 6 batters and 4 bowlers who are no  10 or 11,or maybe compromise the bowling to extend the batting.

Agree,

That's why role based selections needs to be done.

Jadeja or Axar shouldn't be a defacto for no 7.

Similarly for batting at no 8, likes of Yudhvir, Harshit, Hangargekar who are proper bowlers with big hitting ability should have been tried.

BCCI simply don't have any plan. Post every WC cycle they Ideally should identify the players who can fit in the T20 style of play and accordingly groom them. Rinku & Jaiswal are the two but unfortunately the situation is that either of the 2 may not find a place in the XI.

Bro how do you even imagine something like that?

What has Shashank done to get selected for a world cup team?

Just because he is the flavour of the season doesn’t mean he is good enough for international cricket.

Do you remember how Shahrukh Khan (batman) was getting a lot of hype in one of the seasons, where is he now, how good is he doing?

One blue moon season doesn’t mean much.

I agree with selecting riyan Parag though

Bcci has money but no brains, everytime it's the same story.

Yes lets play with the same stat padding chokers and get the same results. T20 format is specifically to try youngsters

The only t20 cup we won we had a first time captain and yusuf pathan playing his first series was asked to open directly in final against Asif, Gul and Tanvir.

You need balls to win anything, coward fans and management deserve another 17 years of no cup. But I know you will still be jerking off over personal stats of your favorite players, who cares if country wins anything.

SRK did nothing in IPL.

Why do we have to wait for multiple seasons? How many seasons of IPL did Kohli perform in before playing his first T20I?

There is an opening at 6-7 spot where Hardik and Jadeja are failing. Why not use an inform player.
