Arshdeep and Axar

This guy needs lot of love and  applauds. He was just fantastic today. I was one of his harshest critics but boy he came up big on the most important stage. Taking two big wickets . Bowling 19th over and not giving anything away was simply brilliant effort.

 

He gave Pandya enough cushion some confidence that boundary wouldn’t kill India in last over
 

Axar played the innings of the match , he gave both stability and impetus to the innings. Kohli is getting the accolades but this guy deserves them.

 

He got hammered by Klassan but to me that was on captain rather than bowler. He should have never bowled that over.

 

As this match proved one man cannot win match by himself.

Agree. That key over to Axar against Klassen and Miller was a blunder. Luckily it didn't matter.

 

And it is true, how your lesser players step up, matters more than how much your big players do in T20Is.

Axar should never have been given that over.

 

Pandya should have done it.

 

Superior version of Jadeja for T20 (way better hitter). Jadeja's great in tests.

 

Axar + Sundar can be a great combo.
