The benefit of opening with Jaiswal-Abhishek far outweights the gains from a left-right combo. Left-right combo is great as long as the players are comparable but in this case Jaiswal & Abhishek are far better than Gill as openers in T20s. Plus you waste either Jaiswal or Abhishek as they're openers and that's their natural spot whereas Gill can bat at 3 as that's his game, i.e. similar to Kohli.

I can't agree more.

Abhi is a murderer of average bowling/trundling. he may loose his wicket in trying to score heavily.

Jaiswal is a little better version of ABHISHEK, he has better defensive technique and equally aggressive style. he has all the shots in the Book and seems a shade better than ABHISHEK.

Gill and rituraj do not fit into the T20 INDIA team bcos they are technically very CORRECT. if we play them in T20, we shall SPOIL their techniques. they can play their game in ODI and tests. if I am the chief selector , i will never play GILL and Ruturaj in T20. they have potential to play TESTS which is a bigger and renowned version of the game.
