Apparently both Gambhir and Agarkar were against him. He also skipping Sri Lankan ODIs so don't know what's brewing. There would be some internal politics after the super stars retired. The guy has Zero awarness about game while batting and hardly any experience of captaincy. What is so hurry to decide the plan of tournament which is 2 yrs away. Hardik is choosy which is ok...everyone should be but picking up easy games (in india) and bunking games outside India is not acceptable. In india indian team can beat any team even with an A team but beating other top teams and even mid level teams outside of India, we need our TOP pace allrounder to be available. Bcos shardul thakur can bowl and bat or harshit rana... Dube experiment will fail as his bowling won't succeed. Nitish can be tried. so sky is a better bet. hardik has too many things to do ..bowling , fielding , batting and captainship will pressurise himmore. that's why normally batsman have become captains and when imran became captain , he reduced his bowling and wasim was a failure as a captain, he lost his touch with batting completely and even his bowling went down. i feel batsman fit in or wicket keeper batsman fit in best as they have the best view of the PITCH and they get a fair idea about the pitch after keeping for 4 overs only, one of the reasons why dhoni and samson will be good captains - though samson is kind of an average captain but rishabh is smarter but he has fitness issues , kinda a fatty and he has recovered but still i don't think he is as fit as say DUBE or jaiswal. i kind of doubt rishabh's fitness , i was finding him losing his breadth after 2 runs. Frustrated Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 Bumrah has unique action & hence injury prone. He is likely to be available only for ICC tournaments and a few bilateral series against top teams. So, there is no point in making him the skipper when his availability itself is a big question mark most often. SKY is the only reasonable option left. If his form & fitness decline afterwards, then Pandya is the likely back up. Sgattick10 and Number 2

One day you will realise t20 had only 120 balls and 10 wickets and we don't need awareness or anchors or stat padding deeppoint 1

Good thing is SKY deserves his spot in T20s, and hope he backs likes of Jaiswal, Abhishek, Parag etc. and pushes for Abhishek to open alongside Jaiswal instead of Gill
