Surprised to see Pakistan still has a better record than India, even Sri Lanka win ratio of 19 % is higher than India 13%.

India won the Test series in England in 2007, had a disastrous tour in 2011 and won a Few Tests in the series after that and still the record is so poor.

Bumrah maybe has two more series left in England and India should look to take full advantage of his presence to improve their record in England.

We have historically sucked in Eng and NZ. Much better in RSA though yet to win a series there. Best in Aus, would have won the 1985 series there as well.

I attach more importance to W/L than win %, because of the importance of draws in the format.

This was due to all the defeats we accumulated pre independence. Pakistan started relatively with a fresh slate.

We played just 2 series and lost 4 tests pre independence I think.

The poor record is there due to batsmen. No Bumrah can save us consistently from sub 200 scores
