Cricketics
what crap is this. just one over left and u ask players to leave the ground. it was an easy win for nz today.. match officals have been pretty pathetic.. agree with botham that their shouldn't have been a 30 min break when the total game hasn't really be that much tiring on players.. already rain has given a lot of rest to players then u needa nother 30 mins rest. now when game starts, same amount of rain happening in 19th over like it was happening in in 10th over, yet umpires decide to call off the player just one over before the result could be made. 19th over done.. lets walk away from the ground cauz 20th over is the deadline. CRAZY STUFF Link to comment
Dirty_South
i was so pissed when the match was called off ... NZ had this in their bag. Link to comment
theguyinallblue
we need to standardize these rules..and Light Offering is not contagious issue... i think Luminous is determined ..and if Light reading falls below that standardised reading..light should be offered... Many a times..i have seen players playing in dark..and at times...players leaving the ground...when light conditions were pretty decent... what can be done..Poms and aussies can do anything... msb1991
This was not the fault of the officials. It was pouring it down and they followed the rules. Link to comment

msb1991
30 minutes break between 24 overs???? what the hell!! That is the minimum time that they can go to and so it is not the umpires' but the ICC's fault. Link to comment
