Throwaib_Chuckter Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 The bigger question is "Should a Non-Reliable-Indian play for India?" Lord and Ultimate_Game 2
zen Posted November 3, 2024 Posted November 3, 2024 NRI is still an Indian so can play. I don’t know why it is seen as an issue. Tons of sports (or even movies) people live across the globe for a variety of reasons. Many South American footballers live in Europe. Residency has nothing to do with citizenship. Some individuals can also be dual citizens such as Tim David, if I am not wrong, who can play for both Singapore and Aus. There was Nannes (hope I got the spelling right) as well who is both an OZ and a Dutch if I am not wrong.
