Agreed but my point was that Babar isn't even good or an impact player even in one format.

Nothing against babar, he is a good player but nt top draw.

babar plays out-dated cricket, he struggles to score runs against high pace and any kind of spin. its been 10 yrs now he has not played a single innings against top or first choice bowling line-up, he score 123-125 ball 100 vs nz in 2019 odi wc.

Babar is a 45-50 averaging bat (35-40 pre 2011 with 75-85 SR).

 

Stats inflated due to weak bowling lineups.

Yes averages does not mean anything these days specially in white-ball, batters can go on years without facing a top bowling line-up or full bowling lineup.

Impact , impact against top side, impact in big games should be the new parameter, these days no 1 is playing their full side and we hardly see even 80-85%  team.
